While his management practice is informed by extensive experience and intercultural business expertise, it is anchored in his strong values and business ethics. His business efforts are driven as much to create jobs and contribute positively to the global society as they are to create a successful organization.
CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD
Venkat has the role of Executive Director at Toyaja. As Executive Director, he oversees all activities surrounding software and technology product development while ensuring that the company’s operations are aligned with the Toyaja vision.
Venkat has over 15+ years of experience in incubating, growing, and managing start-ups related to software product development, consumer software, and end-user technology ecosystems. He has a passion for technology that enables people to be more productive and brings convenience to people’s lives. His interests lie in the development of integrated application ecosystems, paperless technologies and automated bookkeeping.
Venkat is a Commerce graduate and has a post-graduate degree in Business Management.
Anand Desai has over 19+ years of experience as an IT professional. He has substantial experience with the design, execution, and implementation of software applications. Over the course of his career, he has played numerous roles within the IT field, having held such varied positions as Solution Developer, System Analyst, Software Consultant, Project Leader, Project Manager, and Technical Head. Anand has also designed and built numerous Web-based, customized ERP solutions. As the Global Delivery Head and CTO of Toyaja, Anand is engaged in assembling and managing technology teams and providing them with leadership and guidance.
Anand is a graduate of the Science program at KUD, India and holds a post-graduate degree in Computer Applications. He currently resides in India with his wife, daughter, and son. A lover of books, Anand enjoys reading autobiographies of great leaders and personalities.
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, GLOBAL DELIVERY HEAD AND CTO
Dr Lydia Makrides is Toyaja’s Global Wellness Head and oversees and guides Toyaja’s health and wellness services. She is also the President and CEO of Evexia Inc, a Canadian-based corporate wellness company, with over 20 years of domain expertise. She began her studies in London, England in Physiotherapy and after several years of clinical work she pursued further studies in Canadian universities, leading to Bachelors, Masters and PhD degrees.
Dr Makrides held various academic positions as professor at Dalhousie University in Canada, was the founding Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Workplace Health Management and conducted research and published in scientific journals in the health promotion and corporate wellness fields. She consulted extensively in Canada, Singapore and the Middle East and has been recognised for her work in corporate wellness through a number of awards. Dr Makrides authored over 40 publications and reports and is listed in the Canadian Who’s Who.

Kiran Sharma, an Executive Management Graduate from IIMC (Calcutta) with 16 years (plus) of Sales & Marketing (Business Development) experience in IT Product, Services and Technology space. His experience includes dealing with international customers & Partners, business plan preparation and presentation to Management / Board / Investors, Business Monetization, GTM strategy, strategic planning for business expansion, enterprise sales engagement, commercial negotiation, key account management planning & execution, product marketing, digital marketing planning & execution, brand management and communications.
His business acumen coupled with techno-functional knowledge has helped him in securing multi-million deals for the business lines he was responsible for. Kiran Sharma is vastly experienced professional with business leadership of success in diverse industries and domains viz Telecom Infrastructure, Media and Entertainment, Book Publishing Industries, Chemical & Pharma Sector, Enterprise Software includes Cloud Solutions, Mobility Solution, Billing & Customer Management, Education ERP, etc. He is a seasoned business development executive with exposure to multi-culture business environment and extensively travelled to multiple countries for strategic customer acquisitions and business establishment.
As a CMO at Toyaja Inc., and being part of leadership team, Kiran is responsible for business growth of the Organisation. His responsibilities includes identifying new business avenues, strategic marketing initiatives, business development activities to achieve top line business targets of Toyaja.
CHIEF MARKETING OFFICER
Jai Belani is seasoned business professional with 25 years of international business development experience in Information Technology, Consumer Durables, Retail and Dissemination. Has functional expertise in Sales, Marketing and Business development deeds. During progression of his career has played several roles in IT field, in business development has always been customer service centric by providing consultative approach. Has knowledge in SaaS platform development and expansion, been key player in several cloud based and mobile solutions development in various industries. As AVP Business Development at Toyaja, Jai is engaged in defining and executing business strategies, supervising sales and marketing team and edifice new partnership alliances.
Jai is commerce graduate and hold diploma in Advance Computer Training and System Analysis. Also hold certification in Computer Applications and Programing, ITIL foundation, Japanese language and Time Management. Is also acquainted with 6-Sigma and PMP methodology in ITeS industry.
